Endale serves as the Senior Training and Capacity Building Specialist supporting USAID’s Resilience Learning Activity, using his experience and skills in facilitation, communication, project coordination, and training materials design to strengthen collaboration, learning, and adaptation (CLA). He helps the community of practice of resilience partners actively play a role in creating CLA spaces in their organizations.
Prior to joining EI, Endale worked within TechnoServe Inc., supporting entrepreneurial people in Ethiopia to build effective, sustainable, and resilient business to be self-reliant. As part of his role, he assessed, designed, and conducted trainings and monitored training implementation. Endale also worked for Ethiopian Red Cross for 3 years as a Project Coordinator, and assessed, designed, implemented, and monitored effective income generating activities. He also led knowledge transfer processes as part of HIV/AIDS prevention activities.
Endale believes that any community has the drive and capacity to solve their own problems if equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.
