Jack provides coordination, administrative, and technical support to EI’s implementation of the USAID IDEAL project and internal initiatives. Jack brings a background in environmental studies and experience in project and workstream organization and research and development.
Prior to joining to Environmental Incentives, Jack interned with the Policy and Advocacy and Global Market Development teams at the U.S. Green Building Council. There, he provided meeting support, managed and contributed to project correspondence, supported donor and member relationships, and maintained communication within and across teams to support program operations. He also studied abroad in Ecuador with the School for International Training in a program focused on biodiversity, culture, and international development, conducting fieldwork on indigenous issues.
Jack aspires to utilize excellent organizational and communication skills, cross-cultural partnership building, and empathic listening to restore local and indigenous stewardship in biodiversity and conservation programming. He believes that challenging traditional paradigms of development and conservation and critically interrogating assumptions will allow for a more inclusive and just global project of sustainability and human well-being.
