Environmental Incentives Awarded USAID’s Program Cycle Mechanism

Environmental Incentives (EI) has been awarded the Program Cycle Mechanism (PCM) by the USAID Bureau for Policy, Planning and Learning (PPL). EI will lead the five-year activity and its implementation in partnership Bixal, Deloitte, Social Solutions International, and Training Resources Group (TRG).

The Program Cycle is USAID’s operational model for planning, delivering, assessing, and adapting development programs. PCM supports the efforts of PPL to cohesively implement the Program Cycle and encourage adaptive management across the Agency and its programs. Through PCM, PPL offers technical and advisory assistance to develop capacity in implementing the Program Cycle in areas such as strategy development; project and activity design; monitoring; evaluation; and collaborating, learning, and adapting (CLA).

EI helps clients like USAID support evidence-driven program design, adaptive management, and collaborating, learning, and adapting to improve development outcomes.

PCM builds on a decade of progress, strengthening USAID capacity to do development better. We are excited to support USAID’s commitment to applying practices that support programmatic effectiveness and evidence-based adaptive management,” said Tonya Giannoni, Chief of Party for PCM.

As a certified B-Corporation, EI is a mission-driven small business helping clients in the public and private sectors use evidence and learning to improve the outcomes of their investments in conservation and development. EI’s team of organizational development and performance management experts supports clients and partners as they design, implement, and learn from more effective programs.
