EI leads the Bureau for Latin America and the Caribbean Environmental Support Services Contract II (LAC ESSC II), which builds on the predecessor LAC ESSC project, along with our partners Cadmus, Fundación Futuro Latinoamericano (FFLA), and Foundations of Success (FOS). Under LAC ESSC II EI will further our commitment to providing technical, analytical, and adaptive management support to USAID's environmental and energy programming across the region. LAC ESSC II will address complex challenges such as climate resilience, biodiversity conservation, and natural resource management, while integrating climate-smart technologies and increasing engagement with local and regional actors. Along with our partners, we will support USAID in advancing sustainable, evidence-based solutions to the region's most pressing environmental challenges.
LAC ESSC II offers on-demand, flexible assistance tailored to the needs of USAID Missions. Our team will focus on enhancing program design, implementation, monitoring, and learning processes, helping USAID staff make informed decisions that integrate local expertise and promote cross-sectoral collaboration. By fostering strong partnerships and mobilizing rapid technical assistance, Missions will have the resources needed to adapt to new information and emerging priorities, driving long-term environmental and development outcomes throughout the region.
