Despite millions of dollars invested in international development and environment programming each year, many projects are not realizing their intended effects. In many cases, the vast pool of expertise, insights, and lessons learned are not fully leveraged to improve conservation effectiveness around the world. As a result, the international community is calling for more results-based management and accountability and a system to support learning and processes for adaptive management. Environmental Incentives works with international partners and governments to implement a performance-driven approach that makes investments in the environment and development more effective.
