Erik has a strong understanding of regional environmental accounting and working with diverse stakeholder groups to achieve measurable conservation outcomes. As an Associate within the Wildlife and Land practice, Erik focuses on the design and development of habitat exchanges in the West; including the Colorado Habitat Exchange for greater sage-grouse and mule deer and the Upper Green River Conservation Exchange for greater sage-grouse, mule deer, and riparian habitat.
Previously, Erik led the development of a payments for ecosystem services program for the Colorado State Board of Land Commissioners. He also has experience restoring native landscapes for a small ecological services firm along Colorado’s Front Range, which brought him valuable insight into the challenges faced by those working to achieve on the ground conservation.
Erik brings this insight and his passion for promoting innovative means to drive investment in conservation to Environmental Incentives.
