Maria is a Program Manager at Environmental Incentives, supporting the finance, management, and operations of the Biodiversity Portfolio. She primarily supports USAID’s Measuring Impact II (MI2) activity. Maria brings more than five years of experience in natural resource management and conservation planning, program management, and operations to Environmental Incentives.

Prior to joining Environmental Incentives, Maria attended Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California, where she learned and developed technical skills to operate the Open Standards for the Practice of Conservation. She also previously worked as a research assistant in Madagascar studying the impacts of the political crisis on the country’s conservation programs.

Maria aspires to support evidence-based conservation programs that are effective and produce life-changing outcomes.
