Maria brings fifteen years of domestic and international experience in research, program design, and monitoring and evaluation planning to her role with Environmental Incentives. As a program evaluator for over 20 projects across three continents, she has a strong background in building client capacity, strengthening performance management, guiding program and policy reforms, and advising local monitoring and evaluation efforts. Her topic area expertise includes education, reproductive and maternal health, and child and hazardous labor interventions.

Maria is passionate about using evidence for adaptive management, and enjoys working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. She is a firm believer that data can be a transformative tool for learning and growth.
