Negash is the Collaborating, Learning and Adapting (CLA) Director of USAID’s Resilience Learning Activity. Negash brings 15 years of experience in research and monitoring, evaluation and learning for donor funded programs to his role at Environmental Incentives. He has also served as a university lecturer for courses including research methodology, project management, and training techniques and methods, among others.

Negash has participated in over 20 national level studies and led field research teams across Ethiopia. He has a background in food security program assessment and Productive Safety Net Program (PSNP) impact evaluations. Negash also developed and established systems and frameworks for INGOs and country office level program implementation.

Negash sees himself as a lifelong learner. He believes that one can’t be a learning expert without being ready to learn continuously. Over his 15 years of experience, Negash has discovered that there is always more to learn and to add to existing knowledge, inspiring him to seek new information and apply it.
