Regina is the field support lead for the Measuring Impact II contract, where she supports USAID and implementing partner teams to adaptively manage their conservation, climate, and integrated activities. She uses her expertise in the Conservation Standards and knowledge of USAID policies to facilitate workshops at all phases of the Program Cycle, helping teams to design and implement more effective environmental programming. She has worked with multiple USAID Missions to develop regional environmental strategies and report on their progress against their goals. She also supports cross-contract learning initiatives and develops resources to build capacity for adaptive management in biodiversity and cross-sectoral programming.
Regina’s experience spans the conservation, climate, and WASH sectors. While at Conservation International, she led a training of trainers program on climate change and natural resource management for local stakeholders. She has worked with multiple multilateral climate funds, including the Adaptation Fund and the Dedicated Grant Mechanism for Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities. She has worked with local organizations, governments, and the private sector in the Caribbean, Latin America, Africa, Asia, the Pacific Islands, and the United States. Regina’s ability to communicate with a wide variety of audiences and develop strong relationships helps bring conservation and climate stakeholders together.
Regina is passionate about improving the effectiveness of biodiversity conservation initiatives—because when done well, conservation has the power to improve peoples’ lives.
