As an International Practice Associate, Sara provides technical support to the USAID Measuring Impact II project and cross mission learning frameworks. Sara brings a background in environmental studies and experience in strategic planning, data collection and analysis.
Prior to joining Environmental Incentives, Sara interned with Conservation International to help improve the strategic planning community of practice and internal communication. She also worked with a team to develop an adaptive management plan for the Lacandon Jungle in Chiapas, Mexico, utilizing the Open Standards for the Practice of Conservation. Additionally, she has worked in stakeholder engagement and communications with the NASA Health and Air Quality Applied Sciences Team and the Energy Analysis and Policy program at UW-Madison.
Sara aims to support evidence-based conservation projects that improve the lives of communities and the environment. She believes that application of adaptive management tools will maximize success of these projects.
