Sydney supports the Latin America and the Caribbean Environmental Support Services Contract (LAC ESSC) and the Sustainable WASH Systems Learning Partnership (SWS). Sydney brings a background in environmental studies and Spanish and experience in research, grant writing, and adaptive management to her internship with EI.

Prior to joining Environmental Incentives, Sydney interned with Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation to secure funds for trails and conservation purposes and to further their climate change work. She submitted over $3.1 million in grant requests on behalf of clients and was awarded over $1.6 million in project funding. Sydney is also highly experienced in research, working as a graduate research assistant at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies for two years and as a Virtual Student Federal Service intern for the Regional Environmental Office in Lima, Peru.

Sydney aspires to support evidence-based conservation programs that enable communities to live healthy lives and support future generations.
