Environmental Incentives is thrilled to share that two of our master design and adaptive management coaches, Kathleen Flower and Genevieve (Gen) Pence, successfully earned the Conservation Coaches Network (CCNet) Conservation Coach certification. Kathleen and Gen passed a rigorous application process to demonstrate their expertise in broad elements of conservation coaching. In addition, we applaud Foundations of Success‘ Marcia Brown, a close partner to EI, for earning her certification as well.
Kathleen and Gen look forward to continuing to apply this expertise to further the impact of conservation programming in Africa and globally. This will include continuing to coach and mentor conservation teams in design and adaptive management and sharing their lessons, tools, and insights with the broader community.
“I’m so pleased to receive this certification from CCNet. Over my career as a conservation coach, I’ve been able to work with diverse teams to improve their strategic planning, theories of change, monitoring and evaluation, and adaptive management. Having these skills and this experience recognized by my CCNet colleagues is a true honor,” notes Kathleen.
EI is a proud member of the Conservation Measures Partnership. Since our founding we have worked to improve conservation design, management, and impact and to become stewards of the Conversation Standards (CS). We look forward to continuing this partnership and collaborating with CCNet to strengthen conservation program strategies, promote learning, and address challenges around the world.
