Environmental Incentives (EI) has been awarded the USAID Bureau for Latin America and the Caribbean Environment Support Services Contract (LAC-ESSC). The 5-year contract will be led by EI and implemented in partnership with ICF. The LAC Environment Support Services Contract is an initiative of the USAID LAC Bureau’s Office of Regional Sustainable Development.
Services under LAC Environment Support Services Contract include support for large- and small-scale technical studies, skills-building workshops, monitoring and evaluation, compliance, and communications. The LAC Environment Support Services Contract allows USAID to access EI’s services through core funding as well as mission buy-ins. The contract addresses the full range of USAID’s environment and energy activities that are critical to sustainable development in the LAC region, including biodiversity conservation, sustainable landscape management, energy sector development, and support for resilience and environmental compliance.
To best meet the full range of USAID’s needs in LAC and to contribute to achieving milestones in the Journey to Self-Reliance, EI has assembled a team of partners that draws on the talents of many professionals as well as academic, civil society, and small business organizations from across the region.
