Andrew leads Environmental Incentives’ Company Health Practice Area, which includes the finance, operations and human resources departments of the company. In this capacity, Andrew ensures that Environmental Incentives’ practice areas have the foundation needed to achieve the company’s mission.
Andrew also supports the design of performance-driven conservation programs with rigorous financial analysis, and outcome-based contracting and funding strategies. Examples include the development of a Stewardship Cost Analysis Tool that helps restoration managers successfully allocate capital in a way that enables long-term site maintenance and business planning for a conservation program seeking to incorporate as a nonprofit. Andrew is also convening a diverse group of stakeholders – including state and federal agencies, landowners, NGOs and conservation finance professionals – to design pay for performance contracts and finance strategies for water and habitat conservation programs.
Andrew is motivated by communities of people that work together to achieve challenging conservation goals. This inspires him to design tools and strategies that enable public-private collaboration, and purposefully manage internal operations to ensure Environmental Incentives continues to positively impact the environment.
