Dexter is a Water Associate with Environmental Incentives’ Domestic Portfolio. Dexter has worked across San Diego as a property manager and real estate investor for over a decade, giving him an innate understanding of the motivations and desires of San Diegans. He has led two landscape renovations in San Diego, one as a real estate investor/HOA member and one as a property manager. This experience enables Dexter to assess services to maximize both the financial benefits to clients and the community level water impact.
Dexter moved to San Diego in 2005 and quickly fell in love with the city. Over the past 18 years he’s seen the worsening wildfires, increasing instability of the water supply, and the overall pending decline in quality of life due to aridification in the American west. He joined Environmental Incentives to be a catalyst for change and to cultivate a more water conscious community. There is no silver bullet to overhaul water use. Rather it is the cumulative effects of a multitude of conservation efforts that will guide us to a happier, healthier and more sustainable tomorrow.
