Eva leads Environmental Incentives’ Facilitation Service Line and supports excellence in facilitation throughout the company. She provides facilitation coaching, mentoring, and training; connects staff with facilitation opportunities that give them exposure across operating units; and facilitates complex internal and external events. Before stepping into this role, Eva was the Deputy Chief of Party for USAID’s Measuring Impact II, managing the project’s work in the Latin America and Caribbean region and contributing her facilitation and organizational change expertise across the activity.

Eva Schiffer looks back at over 15 years of experience facilitating organizational change and accelerating impact in international development for USAID, the World Bank, UN agencies, and other international development organizations. Eva has worked in many sectors, including environment, governance, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), economic development, public health, and agriculture, always focusing on the people side of change. She developed social network mapping approaches to facilitate better conversations and decision-making toward complex systems change (Net-Map, Network Pattern Cards).

Eva sees her role as a facilitator as creating spaces where individuals, groups, and organizations can reach their fullest potential and achieve the impact they desire.
