Lindsey Larsen (Spanner) is a Senior Communications and Knowledge Management Specialist, serving as a Team Lead on the USAID Advancing Capacity for the Environment (ACE) Program. She brings more than seven years of international development experience in communications and knowledge management.

At EI, Lindsey uses her skills to ensure practitioners can access the information they need when they need it to improve development outcomes. She served in a similar role on the USAID Sharing Environment Energy Knowledge (SEEK) Contract. Previously, she assisted USAID’s Amazon Regional Environment Program (AREP) by translating technical concepts into engaging products.

Before joining EI, Lindsey provided communications and knowledge management support to several USAID-funded projects and international development organizations. She has worked in the environment, global health, and women’s economic empowerment sectors.

Lindsey believes communication is key to a better world. Through storytelling, she hopes to connect people from different cultures and contexts so they can discover their similarities and commit to common goals of tackling some of the world’s biggest development challenges, such as inequality and climate change.
