Melissa is a Senior Knowledge Management and Learning Specialist with Environmental Incentives supporting the international practice area. In this role, Melissa leverages her expertise in the USAID Program Cycle to support the Agency’s knowledge sharing platforms and improve collaboration across the development landscape.
Prior to joining Environmental Incentives, Melissa worked as the Knowledge Management and Communications Manager for the USAID LEARN contract, where she led the knowledge management and engagement workstream and supported the contract’s overall goal of integrating Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting (CLA) into the USAID Program Cycle. Melissa brings more than 18 years of experience in communications, event management, and relationship management, and has put that experience to use designing and facilitating activities with USAID Bureaus and Operating Units that encourage learning and knowledge exchange.
Melissa is passionate about improving conservation and development outcomes through continuous learning and adaptation, and about amplifying those improvements by sharing successes and lessons with other practitioners to facilitate learning and exchange.
