Tricia is currently embedded within the USAID Kenya and East Africa Mission’s Program Office as a Localization Advisor. She brings her extensive background in MEL, CLA, and capacity strengthening to bear on the Mission’s efforts to strengthen internal measurement of and learning around localization activities and build the capacity of new and local partners in their MEL and CLA practice areas.

Tricia has over a decade of experience in international development across technical areas including global health, agriculture, prevention of child labor and human trafficking, and the environment. Prior to joining EI, Tricia worked with multiple implementing partners and used her strong grounding in social science research methods, quantitative, qualitative, and mixed, to enhance rigor in MEL and research. In the distant past, Tricia taught sociology, health policy, and research methods at the university level, and brings her background in adult learning to all of her current work.

Tricia is passionate about bringing intellectual and methodological rigor to bear on the challenges facing the environment and our global community to bear and strives to create an the conditions that allow others to develop and show off their skills and expertise.
