Bret brings extensive field experience to Environmental Incentives from his nearly eight years working in Namibia and Ethiopia. Bret currently serves as Senior Learning and Partnerships Associate for USAID’s Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Finance 2 (WASH-FIN 2) activity where he leads learning, communications, and knowledge management. Beyond experience in WASH and communications, he has worked to develop and implement appropriate technologies and supported education programs globally.
Bret comes to Environmental Incentives from IRC WASH, where he served as Publications and Knowledge Manager. During his time with IRC WASH, Bret managed the production of all knowledge products within the Ethiopia country program and led communication and knowledge management for multiple partner projects. Additionally, Bret piloted innovative technologies for data collection and WASH monitoring in Ethiopia.
Bret aspires to lessen global injustice and ensure local communities are well represented in the sector.
