Flora Lindsay-Herrera is a Team Lead for the USAID-funded LAC Environment Support Services Contract under EI’s Latin America and the Caribbean Portfolio. In this role, she provides technical and programmatic assistance, leads a team of staff to deliver high-quality services and products, and builds and maintains relationships with clients, partners, and consultants. Flora’s experience with federal contracting policies and procedures, along with a strong ability to synthesize complex information, helps teams provide high quality client services and communicate project results to a range of stakeholders.
Flora brings nearly 14 years of international development experience to her role at Environmental Incentives, with a focus in knowledge management and program design. Previously, she served as a Program Director at Chemonics International, where she managed USAID-funded programs throughout Latin America and the Caribbean and built in-house capacity in risk management and program design. She has supported education and environment initiatives throughout Latin America, and she also has experience developing user-oriented services in a research library setting.
Flora aspires to foster spaces for dialogue around challenges in the environment and climate sectors, which she believes is critical to meeting global sustainable development goals.
