Jeremy is a Communications Associate at Environmental Incentives. He supports the Program Cycle Mechanism by helping to ensure that the USAID Learning Lab and Program Net platforms are dynamic Communities of Practice that facilitate sustainable and enduring development programs. Jeremy brings five years of experience in the international development and environment sectors, with specific expertise in strategic communications, content creation, and project management.
Prior to joining EI, Jeremy worked at the UN Environment Programme, where he supported the development and implementation of the communications strategies surrounding the Stockholm+50 International Meeting, and International Mother Earth Day. Additionally, Jeremy is a two-time Fulbright Scholar, having spent two years supporting education and youth development in the Andes mountains and Amazon Basin of Colombia.
Jeremy believes that effective storytelling can drive local and global solutions to the critical social and environmental challenges of our time, from poverty and inequality to climate change and biodiversity loss. He is particularly interested in development work that supports the safety, human rights, and economic and political empowerment of indigenous peoples and local communities.
