Her successful track record includes serving as Portfolio Lead, Key Personnel, Sub-Contract Lead, and Acting Chief of Party. She expertly applies collaborating, learning, and adapting principles to facilitate improved development outcomes.

Amy oversees a range of EI subcontracts including USAID’s Advancing Capacity for the Environment (ACE); Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Finance II (WASH-FIN 2); Technical, Operational, and Program Support (TOPS); and Pacific America Fund (PAF).

Before leading the Portfolio, Ms. Gambrill was the Knowledge Management Team Lead for USAID’s Sharing Environment and Energy Knowledge (SEEK) Project where she oversaw USAID’s environmental Links sites, created strategic communications and knowledge management plans; and developed capacity building plans. She was also a client lead for USAID’s Measuring Impact project, where she helped strengthen the organizational capacity and sustainability of biodiversity programming.

Amy hopes to be as influential as Jane Goodall in the field of conservation. By communicating clearly and in a compelling way, Amy aspires to encourage a more varied section of the population to become involved in environment and climate solutions.
